ng mga Katutubong Mamamayan ng Pilipinas or KAMP is the national
federation of indigenous peoples organizations in the Philippines.
Established in 1987, KAMP traces its beginning to the Consultative
Assembly of Minority Peoples of the Philippines (CAMPP) back in
September 1983. The assembly served as a regular venue where tribal
leaders belonging to the 6.5 million indigenous population met
to share and discuss the problems and life struggles of indigenous
peoples. The assembly was instrumental in advancing the demands
and aspirations of indigenous peoples through the projection of
their issues in the national and international fronts. The period
also marked the formation of local, provincial and region- wide
organizations of indigenous peoples.
- Citizens'
Disaster Response Center (CDRC) is a non-government organization
that pioneered and continues to promote community-based disaster
management in the Philippines. CDRC operates nationwide through
a network of regional centers affiliated with the Citizens’
Disaster Response Network and through people’s organizations.
